About the SD CCE
The South Dakota Chamber of Commerce Executives (SD CCE) exists to promote the education and professional growth of its members. Serving as a forum for discussion and collaboration, SD CCE addresses issues impacting local chambers and communities throughout South Dakota. Members engage in meaningful dialogue on topics such as the 2025 political landscape, AI best practices, and hosting the US Chamber’s National Civics Bee®.
Mission & Vision
The mission of SD CCE is to foster education, professional development, and collaboration among local chamber executives across South Dakota. Through shared learning and networking, SD CCE strengthens chambers’ capacity to serve their communities and advocate for business-friendly policies.
What We Do
SD CCE provides value to its members through:
Advocacy
Supporting chambers in addressing legislative and community issues.
Networking
Facilitating connections among chamber executives statewide.
Education
Hosting webinars, roundtables, and conferences on timely topics.
Economic Development
Equipping members to promote growth in their local economies.
SD CCE Scholarship Program
The SD CCE offers $500 scholarships to assist members in attending the US Chamber Institute program and other professional training. Scholarships are awarded during spring and fall meetings, with travel stipends also available for conferences.
The fall scholarship program has closed; the spring deadline will be announced after January 1, 2026.

Leadership & Governance
The 2024-2025 CCE Board of Directors includes leaders from across the state’s chambers of commerce. Board members serve one-year terms and typically progress through leadership roles such as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary, providing guidance to fulfill SD CCE’s mission.
