Our dedicated team at the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry works tirelessly to support and advocate for businesses across the state. From policy initiatives to member services, each staff member plays a vital role in advancing our mission and connecting with our members.
Ryan Budmayr
President & CEO
Ryan Budmayr is the President and CEO of the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the state’s leading advocate for business. A Belle Fourche native, Ryan attended the University of South Dakota before going to work for South Dakota’s 32nd Governor, Dennis Daugaard. In addition to his time in the Governor’s administration, his background includes work in politics, economic development, and marketing, most recently serving as Vice President for one of the region’s top marketing agencies, Lawrence & Schiller.
Ryan and his wife, Molly, live in Sioux Falls with their two children, Minnie and Teddy. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and upland bird hunting across South Dakota’s wide-open spaces. He is proud to lead the Chamber in building a stronger future for South Dakota businesses and families, ensuring opportunities for the next generation.
Ali Gabriel
Vice President of Development
As the Vice President of Development, Ali Gabriel leads efforts to build strong partnerships that advance the Chamber’s work and champion a thriving, PRO-business community. With a background in marketing, media, sponsorship development, brand strategy, and community engagement, she focuses on connecting businesses, leaders, and ideas in ways that create opportunity and lasting impact.
Originally from Minnesota, she relocated to South Dakota five years ago and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the strength and collaboration of this region’s business community. Ali is proud to support initiatives that help local businesses grow, connect, and succeed.
Outside of work, life is full with her husband, Tony, and their three daughters, who keep their family busy and laughing.
Isabelle Werth
Project Manager
Isabelle Werth is actively involved in supporting South Dakota’s business community through her work with the Chamber of Commerce. She assists with event coordination, member engagement, and organizational initiatives that strengthen connections across the state. Isabelle is passionate about fostering relationships, supporting local businesses, and contributing to initiatives that drive economic growth.
In addition to her work with the Chamber, Isabelle is pursuing a career in real estate, where she focuses on helping clients navigate the home buying and selling process with confidence. She brings a strong attention to detail, a people-first mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in every interaction.
